One day when Chanel was a little girl growing up in Vallejo, CA she did her sister’s hair, one of her favorite activities since her mom worked at a salon. Her sister left the house and within an hour, two neighborhood girls showed up asking if Chanel could do their hair. “Yes,” she said, and by the time she was fifteen, Chanel was in Cosmetology School.
From the moment you sit down in Chanel’s chair, your stress starts to melt away. She’s a great listener, a gracious hostess, and a hilarious storyteller. Her attention to detail and technical skill is rigorous, she’s also trained as a Hair Color Educator to teach other stylists. Chanel’s own hair is like a pastel mood ring: constantly changing. New York Fashion Week has also utilized her expertise.
Chanel applies the same passion and enthusiasm to hair that she does to dancing the Hula, scuba diving, and pairing food with wine. She’s a supermom and a tough mudder!
It’s deeply satisfying to Chanel to make her clients feel a little more relaxed and beautiful and that is one of the many reasons why she is an invaluable asset to Moski. She has worked with us since 2012.
